2026 Human Neuron to Brain (HN2B) Meeting

Dear Colleagues,

We would like to invite you to the 2026 Human Neuron to Brain (HN2B) Meeting, taking place May 4–5, 2026 at the Krembil Brain Institute, University Health Network, in Toronto, Canada. With very limited spots remaining, we strongly encourage you to register as soon as possible to secure your place.

Building on the success of the 2024 meeting in Amsterdam, which brought together a highly engaged international community working directly with human brain tissue, the 2026 HN2B Meeting will expand both in scope and scale. This two-day, invitation-only meeting will convene world-class researchers, clinicians, and trainees working across all levels of human neuroscience—from molecular and cellular mechanisms to multiomics, computational modeling, invasive human electrophysiology, and cancer–neuroscience.

The meeting is particularly geared toward investigators working with human brain tissue (acute and in culture) and those developing innovative experimental and computational approaches to probe the unique properties of human neurons and circuits. Our goal is to highlight cutting-edge discoveries, catalyze new collaborations, and strengthen this growing international community.

We have assembled an outstanding and internationally recognized lineup of speakers across the following thematic sessions:

Synaptic Connectivity, Slice Culture, Cellular Electrophysiology, Multiomics, Invasive Electrophysiology, Computational Modeling, and Cancer–Neuroscience.
